Store bought oven thermometers do not measure oven temperature accurately. A digital thermometer is necessary to calibrate oven. Check for blocked heat vents. Aluminum foil alters oven temperature. Confirm correct utensil is used for cooking. |
| Oven cycles on and off | This is normal when baking or roasting. |
| Self-clean cycle not working | Confirm oven door latch is closed. |
| Top burner not lighting | Verify burner cap is properly placed. Verify drip pan is properly positioned in pan section. |

| Compressor goes on and off frequently | Thermostat is keeping the refrigerator at a constant temperature. This is normal. |
| Moisture collects on inside of refrigerator walls | Weather is hot and humid which increases rate of frost buildup and internal sweating. |
| Water collects on bottom side of drawer cover | Vegetables contain and give off moisture. It is not unusual to have moisture on the bottom side of the cover. |
| Food stored in drawers freezes | Refrigerator control is set too cold. |
| Refrigerator runs too much or too long | Room or outside weather is hot. Refrigerator or freezer door may be slightly opened. Refrigerator control is set too cold. |
